@ray_marten: Excited to announce that on Friday, I will be making a decision on what college I will be attending as a student-athlete.

Ray Marten received an offer from uconn in January and was there visiting with Elias Reynolds back in April (who committed to Rutgers) yesterday.

Something isn't adding up. He goes to school in Texas, but all of his accomplishments make mention of Washington (state) records, all state teams etc.

Moving from Washington to Texas in normal circumstances wouldn't be much of an issue for Jordan. He's lived with his father every time he moved to play for a new team. Jon Kitna played in Seattle, Cincinnati, Detroit and Dallas.Moving midway through his junior year, however, was something that required additional adjustment for Jordan. Waxahachie has a population of roughly 32,000, whereas Tacoma has more than 203,000 and is more diverse. "The city's a lot smaller here. Everything's within 5-10 minutes," Jordan said. "It's a very tight community. Everybody knows everybody. There's only one school system here, whereas there are five high schools in Tacoma.<<

Maybe Dan O puts a good word in w/ Dad for UConn.
 
Great news about Kitna. If we can bring a kid in at QB with NFL pedigree in his familt AT the QB it can do nothing but help strengthen the position for us even more.

Surprised about Ahmed Bah to RU. Guess they put the full court press on him. Always thought we mightve been his top school.
 
Skanes' GPA is 3.75 - not too shabby!

I'd be surprised if he commits on the trip because he's looking to scare up more offers.

Sorry abou it is Quayvon Skanes.... the most recent rivals article i read on 6/5/15 he was interviewed and said it himself. It'd be his firsttrip to Storrs. Article implies he's most comfortable with CMU (in close contact with one of the coaches there) and Northwestern (he's been there a few times)

For us to be in his top 3 and not even visit until kinda speaks volumes for us imo. He obviously sees something in us.
