I guess not.
The one thing UConn football needs the most seems to be the most elusive fish to catch. They were not able to corral the best O-lineman in the state of CT this year and now one that they almost had in the net slips off the hook. GRRRR.....![]()
WTF are you babbling about? The fact that they can't land guys like Nuang who is right under their nose was my point. Maybe you need to read, comprehend, post and then..... smoke. Not the other way around. If you ever thought that we had any chance of landing a Marinelli player, I want what you're smoking.

I've accepted the reality that the Marinelli situation meant we never had a shot at him.
C'mon - It wasn't like they didn't offer Niang... they identified the talent but were competing against a who's who of P5 offers. Realistic expectation even before you tack on the potential Marinelli whammy factor. They were at least successful with getting him on campus for a visit. He was pretty clear from the beginning that he was headed out of state. His final 3 were TCU, Auburn and Miami. The fact that they can't land guys like Nuang who is right under their nose...
He probably was afraid of playing in the Big 12...This was the official announcement he put on twitter:
