I hope he reconsiders too, but being a NJ kid and having that opportunity to play in B1G might seal it for him... We did get Brouse, which, might be a consolation. That kid appears to have a nasty streak (according to his hudl film). Something we need on our OL...
It's been reported that he will be playing on the DL, Brouse that is.

My school played his when I was in HS. We called them "Ejaculatta"

That's all I have to contribute

The one thing UConn football needs the most seems to be the most elusive fish to catch. They were not able to corral the best O-lineman in the state of CT this year and now one that they almost had in the net slips off the hook. GRRRR..... :(

If you ever thought that we had any chance of landing a Marinelli player, I want what you're smoking.

WTF are you babbling about? The fact that they can't land guys like Nuang who is right under their nose was my point. Maybe you need to read, comprehend, post and then..... smoke. Not the other way around.

I've accepted the reality that the Marinelli situation meant we never had a shot at him. I don't care if he's under our nose, there's no way he was coming here and we all knew that. So why anyone would get upset about it knowing the facts on the ground?

I don't get that. We listened to him and it damn near killed the program. That mothereffer owes us.

C'mon - It wasn't like they didn't offer Niang... they identified the talent but were competing against a who's who of P5 offers. Realistic expectation even before you tack on the potential Marinelli whammy factor. They were at least successful with getting him on campus for a visit. He was pretty clear from the beginning that he was headed out of state. His final 3 were TCU, Auburn and Miami.

I'm sorry, but I don't get it. Yeah, Big10 vs AAC, but with all the turmoil at RU with coaches and ADs, and looking at HCBD and what he's done at UConn, I may be wearing blue colored glasses, but I'll take that over being a B10 doormat.
