Some pretty good football coaches have been through UNH -- Palmer, Whipple, Sparano, Rizzi, Rossomondo...

I wonder if New Haven didn't shut down their program (and since they restarted, it been good) if they would be talked about like those two schools in the Midwest (those 2 D3 powerhouse teams, since they are D3).

University of New Haven is D2.

Ok...sorry....but are they still a good running team... they had a guy on the team in the 90s who was a great running back. How are they now...still good or are they not as good as they were?

SOURCE: #OleMiss/#Oregon Matt Lubick has accepted the job to become #Baylor's new OC.. Has worked w/ new OL coach George DeLeone before.

I have this strong desire to hit the Baylor forums to share with them what they are getting with GDL. No kid should ever have to endure what our guys went through.

The only reason he got hired is there is no one else who wants the job. I know he worked with Rhule at Temple but how in God's name does this guy still get to coach?

UCLA: Michigan quarterbacks / wide receivers coach Jedd Fisch will be the new offensive coordinator at UCLA, according to Fox Sports. Fisch spent two years at Michigan and was previously the Jaguars offensive coordinator.

Purdue: Jeff Brohm has formally announced the hiring of eight assistants — Brian Brohm, Tony Levine, Nick Holt, Reggie Johnson, Anthony Poindexter and Dale Williams, plus support staff members Greg Brohm and Robert Sampson. All but Poindexter follow Jeff Brohm from Western Kentucky; Poindexter spent the past three seasons as defensive coordinator and safeties coach at Connecticut.

FWIW, since these two names have come up: no interviews scheduled with Sumlin or Miles. #Gophers

Update from my colleague. 3 others flew down too. FWIW, Harsin's agent in Chicago too. But Fleck worthy of watching, surely. #Gophers

ESPN’s Brett McMurphy reports Minnesota is expected to target Western Michigan head coach P.J. Fleck, Penn State offensive coordinator Joe Moorhead and North Dakota State head coach Chris Klieman. Les Miles also might become a candidate. The Star-Tribune reports Fleck has not been offered the job.

AP Sources with @ralphDrussoAP: Minnesota reached out to PSU OC Joe Moorhead about head job but was told Moorhead wasn't interested.

Joe has a shot to make the playoff next season with his returning starters.

Any job out there now will be available next season, including many p5 jobs. He'll be in higher demand next season.

He likely has more stability innhis current gig than any HC job he would take. PSU pays their assistants well and if stays long enough he could be in line for the PSU HC job should Franklin move on.

In any case he will be a sought after OC for the rest of his career. He doesn't need to rush into a new job.
