Nah. I once pitched 14 innings against Albany State in 40 degree weather. Come to think of it, I blew out my rotator cuff. OK, never mind.

The coach should not place any value on that in this situation. Kay is a kid who due to his youth likely feels invincible. It isn't like a seasoned vet in the major leagues arguing to stay in the game.
