So we shouldn't be expecting a major contribution from him as a freshman, is the impression I'm getting. Provided everyone comes back, or perhaps we add another big, that's probably fine. I just would like to see him put up a few big games against serious competition this season.
expect him to play as much as rock is playing this year

The prep basketball team traveled to Merrimack Valley High School in Penacook, NH to host visiting Bill Crothers Secondary School (Ontario) on Wednesday and came away with a convincing 108-53 victory. Brewster placed 6 in double figures and all 12 dressed players saw considerable playing time. Brewster was led by Washington-bound David Crisp (Tacoma, WA) with 18 points, while Arizona-bound Justin Simon (Temecula, CA) and Louisville-signee Donovan Mitchell (Greenwich, CT) each contributed 16 points. UConn-signee Jalen Adams (Roxbury, MA) had a game-high 7 assists and 5 steals, as well as 10 points. Unsigned forward Joe Sherburne (Whitefish Bay, WI) and unsigned point guard Kamali Chambers (Golden Valley, MN) each added 13 points.

how about those folks who think enoch should get redshirted. guys adjusting to a new level of competition, I think he'll show nice development and will be playing his best ball in the postseason/spring.

Also, some highlights from St. Thomas More vs. Putnam Science Academy:

I will take that one - no need for concern. Quinn and Jim had some differences - no carry over to current staff.

Future @UConnMBB teammates @tallflow and @JalenAdams25 will both be in action Sunday at the Hoophall Classic http://ow.ly/Hj6ib

Enoch and St. Thomas More will take on Vermont Academy Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. at the Hoophall Classic. Earlier in the day, Adams will be in action as well. After graduating from Cushing Academy last spring, Adams is playing his post-grad year at Brewster Academy in New Hampshire. His team will take on Montverde Academy Prep at 11:00 a.m. Sunday.

Kobie Eubanks: 35 pts 9 rebounds 5 assists 4 steals including 5 3 pointers!

edit: I read the 5 3 pointers were "in a row back to back", the wording was weird and stat is impressive so I am not sure if he actually knocked them all down consecutively but seems like it ha

The prep basketball team improved to 15-0 on the season (4-0 in NEPSAC Class AAA play) with a hard-fought 78-68 road win over the New Hampton School. Brewster was led by UConn-bound Jalen Adams (Roxbury, MA) with a game-high 25 points, while Louisville-signee Donovan Mitchell (Greenwich, CT) contributed 16 points. Both played outstanding defensively in the win, as did Arizona-commit Justin Simon (Temecula, CA) who added 10 points. Virginia-bound Jarred Reuter (Marion, MA) returned to action after being out for 2 months with an injury and contributed 12 points in the victory.

Brewster will travel to the Hoop Hall this weekend and play the Montverde Prep (FL) team on Sunday at Springfield College (MA). Game time is 11am.

Montverde Prep ranked second in the nation and has the number one player in Ben Simmons. Should be a great match up.

“@DaveBorges: Karl Hobbs is here for Jalen Adams' game.”

“@DaveBorges: And ... Kevin Ollie now here, too. Jalen Adams looks good - high energy, runs the show, hit a 3, scored on nice drive to the hole.”

“@terrence_payne: Kevin Ollie made the short drive up from #UConn. He's watching Brewster's Jalen Adams. Steve Enoch plays this evening #HHClassic”

“@trigonis30: @BrewsterHoops is like a well-oiled machine. UConn-bound PG Jalen Adams is their leader and best player”

“@EvanDaniels: Jalen Adams (http://post original url/dSnGM354Tu) & Donovan Mitchell (http://post original url/T6LudCPUzI) both playing well for Brewster. Each have 14 points.”

“@FrankieBur: That Adams jumper is quite efficient to say the least. He's got 16.”
I thought Daniel Hamilton was underrated ranked #30 coming out of high school. I think Adams is REALLY underrated at #25.

He's easily the best player on a team starting all D1 guys (and I'm a huge Mitchell fan).
