Best athlete: Derrick Jones (Philadelphia/Archbishop Carroll High School)

He has a rare combination of tremendous length and an explosive vertical leap, which helps him contribute on both ends of the floor. Offensively, he stands out finishing in transition with tip dunks and straight line drives. On the defensive end, his lateral quickness keeps him in front of his opponent. As the skills catch up to his athletic ability, he will be even more productive.

If we sign Newman stone or jones I would be legit shocked. Clarke works , donovon on our tail of a VA sf again

Stone has kept his recruitment extremely close to the vest. There was buzz about him being a Uconn lean 2 weeks ago, and no news at all since then, but for some reason, we are seeing fans have their wish list of recruits exclude Diamond as if he is unattainable...what am I missing??

There is alot of duke and Wisconsin talk

Breaking down how the top 20 committed players fit at the next level

9. Jalen Adams, Connecticut (No. 40):
One of the best scoring guards in the country, Adams has the ability to play both backcourt positions and should fit in well at Connecticut. Adams can get by his man off the bounce, while also possessing range on his jumper. The Huskies love to use ball-screens for their guards, and Adams will be well-suited for that offense. Ryan Boatright will be gone by the time Adams enters school, although fellow combo guards Sam Cassell Jr., Rodney Purvis and Terrence Samuel are also competing for minutes.

.-.
Good to see Jalen Adams and Derrick Jones playing on the same team.

I agree. That has to make DJ say " hmmm wouldn't it be nice to have this guy passing me the rock durning college". The two of them together would be about the fastest duo you could pair from the 2015 talent pool.

Adams should keep his scoring to a minimum this tournament. Everyone knows he can score. He just needs to toss lob after lob after lob to Jones, then recruit off the court.

I agree just hope Jalen isn't hot as hell and never gives it up! lol

I read that Georgia was the leader for Malik Beasley.

What are the chances he commits to UConn?

.-.
With UCLA getting Ali and VCU getting Williams, that has to help with Beasley. Still don't think UConn is in the drivers seat but can't hurt.

Here is CT's own Jared Wilson-Frame... Strong guard who can shoot, drive, and pass very well. I really like this kid, just don't know if guard play is what we need. He has an offer on the table from Uconn as well as Georgia, Prov, VCU, and Rutgers.

I think we have a good shot at Jones and Stone.
I don't think we get either of them. I think that Jones is going to go to Kansas and Stone is going to stay home and go to Wisconsin.
