He's a lot lighter on his feet than I thought, but from the limited minutes I've seen Enoch is a better long-term prospect.

Light on his feet? dare you to say that to his face

Unlv vs UCLA is on right now. Good place to see a couple who got away.

UNLV is talented as hell, only draw back is their coach is a fn idiot. He's dreadful and how anyone can go there is mind boggling - other than the casino's and $$$$$$ of course.

Tyler Dorsey is the one I like. He's a lot better than people give him credit for.

I watched Marquette v LSU last night and Traci Carter got his first start. He distributed the ball really well and ended up with 9 assists. His handle was a little suspect when pressured but happy to see he found a nice landing with Marquette.

Watching UNLV-Chaminade and Derrick Jones for the first time. Dude is one of the most athletic/bounciest players I've ever seen. But he has no idea how to play basketball and Dave Rice's system is certainly not helping. He's got like 16 points or so now just b/c he is so superior athletically. But in the half court he is a trainwreck. Wild drives, fall away jumpers for no reason. If he could harness the skill, he could be ridiculous

Abdul Malik-Abu has seen his minutes slashed over the last two games. Tonight he played 13 minutes, going 0-for-6 from the floor, 2-2 from the line for 2 points and 1 rebound in NC State's loss to Michigan. Last Friday he went for 2 points (1-4 fg; 0-2 ft) and 3 rebounds in 14 minutes of a closer-than-it-should-have-been win over Winthrop.

In the first 5 games of the year he was playing about 25 minutes per game, averaging 14 points and 7 rebounds. Not sure exactly why he's getting so much less time, though it should be noted that he's neither an efficient scorer nor a true rim protector (though his advanced defensive stats are pretty good, and he does past the eye test).

If his minutes stay down over the next couple of games it wouldn't shock me at all if he transfers. I'm not certain, though, that we'd still want him.

Two former recruits in the news...

Wes Clarke (PG from 2013 class) was dismissed from Missouri due to academic reasons
Leron Black (F from 2014 class) was arrested the other day for aggravated assault and was suspended from Illinois

And Tevin Mack is still shooting 30%.
