Borges had mentioned him in a recruiting article back in March:
UConn also has shown some mild interest in Bonzie Colson, a 6-6, Class of 2014 power forward in the Jeff Adrien mold out of St. Andrew's School in Barrington, R.I. Colson has offers from Seton Hall, Rutgers and George Washington, among others. UConn has only shown slight interest to this point.

Haven't seen him play but heard he is a very good fundamental undersized power forward. He is the leading scorer for BABC and was one of the top performers at eybl. His game sounds very similar to George's Niang though Colson is supposed to be a little bit better athlete. He sounds very undersized for the power forward position but the latest listing of 6'7 230 lb. with a 7 foot wingspan sounds just fine.

He admitted to the ESPN guy that he's just 6-foot-5.

Regardless, I don't think that should rule him out. Seems like every year there's one of these guys (undersized 4s) in the tournament that just goes off and eliminates a blue blood. I'd be happy to have someone like that on our team, even if he has limited/no NBA future.

Adrien was only 6'5" as were many other PF's who had impact in major college programs.......it's how you play at that size that counts!! Don't count the size out on this one.........

What are the odds we hold out for Abu or Black if Colson is very interested after his visit?

Don't think either Abu or Black are affected by him at all. They are taller and more true PF who would get playing time over him.

To use a slot for a solid, but less elite player, seems premature to me at this point in time. With so many top possibilities in play, it seems that KO should take his time and let things play out.
