Nice. Kid's got some confidence in his game haha

Very interesting interview.

4. When you think of college basketball, what are the first five schools that come to mind?
Kelly Oubre: I think of UConn, Louisville, Florida, Kansas, and UCLA because of their successful history.

When you read further down, he names the coaches who have most impressed him.

From reading the article, it seems like Kansas and Florida would be UConn's biggest competition.

IF he and dad are both lions...

Who would you compare your game to?
Kelly Oubre: I think my game resembles Kobe, LeBron, Melo, and Michael Jordan all rolled up into one.

going a little overboard I think.....

But seems like a great kid and a VERY underrated talent. REALLY hope we land him!

This kid is awesome!! No wonder KO is going after him so tough. Love that poem he reads before every game, printing it out right now!! Adding to my quote and poem collection on my wall!!

Seems like a bright (and confident) kid. Would love to pick him up to pair him with Purvis and Hamilton.

Similar to Hamilton, he says he wants to play the 1,2, or 3.

I saw his game looking like a 3 or a small 4, but I keep forgetting he is listed mostly at 6'5", but I did see him listed at 6'7" on one site.

So, we could have Purvis, Daniel, and Kelly all playing the 1 at the same time. We'll have a 5 PG team, including Pascal Chukwu, who will also announce he wants to play the 1.

Way too many fans are caring about what position these kids are going to play. Positions are overrated in college. If you can lock up a player like this you do it regardless of the position.

This +10000.........real good players who do it alll can co-exist on the court together and there's room and time for them all........

16. When did you first pick up a ball?
Kelly Oubre: The day after I earned my black belt in Tae Kwon Do, I started playing basketball.

Is this guy for real? Love him too. :D

thought the same thing.. grades sound good also

We need players with in-your-face confidence. That's what separates the good from great players. I hope we get him. Our championship teams all had that type of player.
