A ton of "TBA" on the times - is that normal when the official schedule comes out? How can the league not know what time games are going to be at?

http://courantblogs.com/uconn-women/this-and-that-about-the-uconn-womens-schedule/

"Many games are still without starting times. These will be filled once UConn meets with SNY, its new broadcast partner. SNY is expected to telecast most or all TBA games, likely even the three in the Virgin Islands in November, although those plans have not been finalized."

How we see them: ..............

How do you define "challenging"?

Shall we count the possibilities? ;)

1) Point in the game in which UCBart has posted using swear words?

2) Point in the game where TonyC makes a post as to why the sky is not falling and why UConn will win the game in question and the next _____ games (note...TonyC's post must not be less than 5,000 words)?

3) Point in the game where HuskyNan reads hundreds of Boneyard posts and wonders aloud if she should be paid for her moderation efforts?

4) Point in the game where JS steps in to combine seven threads discussing the same issue/concern into one threadzilla?

5) Point in the game where icebear and/or doggydaddy make highbrow/hyper-intellectual references (e.g., "That was very Heideggarian of the announcers") that no one understands that clearly demonstrate UConn graduates work at just as fancy of restaurants as Duke graduates.

Sorry, but Joanne P makes it pretty hard to go easy on Duke..see past history for examples....;)

Past history of Coach P (e.g., 2005 Michigan State game) or past history of Duke (e.g., 2004 game in Hartford, 2006 game in Bridgeport)?

.-.
Of the opening 12 games, I expect 5 of them to be over within five minutes (Charleston, Colgate, Oakland, @Hartford, @Oregon), 4 to be challenging (@TAMU, Md, Penn St, @Stanford), and the other 3 to fall in between (Wake, Marist, Purdue).
Do I get to rub it in that I'll be able to see the Wake-Marist-Purdue games in person - in the Virgin Islands?

We expect excellent, detailed, up-to-the-minute reporting.

I'll be in San Diego that week looking for a retirement home and may see old what's his name.

It appears the UConn game vs A&M will be their 3rd game as they play Louisville and Penn State prior to playing UConn. A distinctive advantage for them, playing two good teams before UConn plays a game.

They lost at purdue last year ... It didn't help much.

But maybe they can take some momentum if they win those games

Yeah, Baylor is headed downhill next year too. :D

I'm less worried knowing that Sims will be a senior, the upcoming frosh will be tougher, Our post players will be juniors and seniors. Chandler will be there to finally play.

I'm a sucker for anyone who sites Heidiger, now if you can follow up with a Gadamer quote I'll be in ecstasy.

If he had the same sort of nuns in school that I did, he could beat Holy Family by 80, and it still wouldn't square things! Them nuns, they's tough!

Besides, as we were taught, a little suffering is good for the soul.
Was gonna say Geno prolly had a Sister Mary Margaret in elementary school he's still trying to square things with. :)
