Top 9th, Morton follows the homers with a 1 out walk, but that is it for the UConn offense this inning. 11-9 UConn.

Fogell starts the bottom of the 9th on the mound for the Huskies, the first batter is a lefty. Willis is warming up.

Xavier may have lost the series, but it would not surprise me if the Big East gets 2 teams into the NCAA tourney this season. We'll see what happens.

One other thing, Ellisen is certainly getting important time on the mound of late.
 
We'll see this team again in May. Both of these teams are NCAA tournament caliber teams regardless of who comes out on top in the likely BET championship game
 
What a great series win. Grit and determination. S. Quigs just gutty in Game 2. Smitty starting to hit. And Daniels shows why I can't spell coach. Haha. Coach Mac will be the happiest guy ever to get on the plane and get out of Ohio. That field is absolutely brutal. On to Northeastern Tuesday in a sneaky big game.
 
Xavier is a nightmare at home. We have them in check at Prasco.
 
Two big games this week - even with midweek pitching mess. After that, with this offense, there are a bunch of wins for the taking.
 
Xavier is easily the best team we have played all year in a weekend series. Even their arms were lively…we are just on a tear offensively.
