2 Deep coming soon....

1st P5 win in 12 years? That can't be right Diaco beat Virginia.
You are right. 1st in 12 tries not years. It is actually worse than that. They lost 14 straight, not 12, between The Virginia win and beating BC. But that still supports my basic point. 2022 was a pretty sound season. Not great but solid. Especially when you consider they had NC State, Syracuse and Michigan in succession and all were ranked at the time.

Oh it was a very good year. No doubt about that.

Not thrilled that there's only 1 kicker on the roster.
Seth Turner is listed under Punter but he is also a Place Kicker:

Yup…

Seth Turner • Class of 2023 • Kickers

-> Seth is a very talented high school kicking and punting prospect. He is a great looking athlete with big college potential. Seth does an excellent job on field goal. He gets the ball up well off the ground and easily has 50+ yard range. His kickoffs are strong. He drives the ball into the endzone with good hang time. Seth is also an excellent punting prospect. He punts for a nice combination of distance and hang time. Seth is a competitor who does well under pressure. I really like his all around upside. He has all the tools to be a special college player. He is a fine young man who is always a great pleasure to work with. Strong combo prospect. OFFER NOW!!! Great addition for UCONN.

2-deeps are sort of meaningless for a lot of positions. Receivers for sure. It might tell you who is in for the first play. That’s about it. Tight ends, Linebackers and d-line, even d-backs often who tend to be “situational” and rotate in and out, running backs who sometimes are situational (X plays on 3rd down because he can catch it out of the backfield, Y plays in short yardage situations). QB, o-line usually follow the 2-deep reasonably closely.

Also, teams usually have a swing lineman on the Offensive Line, so that 1 guy backs up 2 or 3 positions.

I’ve heard Robinson is the real deal and could well be #1 by mid-season.
Robinson looked excellent in the scrimmage at the open practice... albeit again against the 2nd and 3rd team.

Graham said in the forums that it wouldn’t let him make it blank.
He’s also trying to connect w/ the SC IT guy to covert the depth chart to the 3-3-5. It’s a formatting issue on their end.

I mean Kaleb Anthony is on that two deep and I’m pretty sure he’s no longer on the team.
Nice catch. I didn't see that.
Gotta wait til Sunday/Monday to find out what we really look like (or closer to what our depth looks like anyways)

My biggest concern on D is the LB spots mainly because they’re relatively untested and also implementing a new scheme

Fire away and I'm sure there's plenty off. But here's my guess from watching the open scrimmage, different media takes and coaches interviews...
