17U/18U trials start today!

The link is to the first page of the site....lots of links on that page to the trials which start today and go thru Monday. Breanna is looking good taking a shot!

Regarding the 18U team: I'd be shocked if Breanna doesn't make it. I'd be very surprised if Morgan didn't make it. I'd be surprised if Moriah didn't make it. Note: while Moriah did get dropped when they made the final cut from 15 to 12 last year for the 19U team, remember that she was not at 100%
for those trials....having some ankle problems.

It will be fascinating to see how this pans out....with a special eye towards underclass UConn targets.

I'll be watching what most of the evaluators start to say about the players and when the teams are selected. Blue Star Reports and Hoopgurlz are going to be there.

I contacted USA Basketball and was told that the trials are not open to the public due to space constraints. I was ready to drive down for a few days. )-:

BTW: one article says that the 17U team will be announced
Sunday morning.

Also....the 18U team will be announced at 1:00 our time on Monday.

I'm just guessing that 15 kids will be selected at this point. They reassemble in Orlando in late May
where the roster goes to 12.

I remember reading that Moriah and Morgan will be arriving in Storrs for the first summer semester in early June with Breanna arriving in mid-June [though still before her high school graduation].
