this is gonna be an empty thread..... i can probably write anything i want in here. Its 7pm.. and Im already sleepy. This BC-Duke game aint gonna go energize me up either.

ND up big early 16-2 on Clemson. Look like a completely different team then on Sunday. Helps that JY is back in the line up.

Yes, they did. It doesn't matter what sport..Winston-Salem has been a place of horror for NC State athletic teams.

End of 1st quarter...NC State leads 20-11. Ace Konig with 8 points for NC State.

Notre Dame leads Clemson, 21-8. I'm really surprised that game is that wide open this early in the game.

4:55 left 2nd quarter...NC State leading Wake Forest, 24-14. Game has turned ugly...only 7 points scored total by both teams this quarter.

Clemson outscored ND 31-28 between the 1st quarter media timeout and the 2nd quarter media timeout.

Clemson's defensive pressure has been much more effective since that 1st time out. ND is shooting a decent percentage but it really should be more. Missing some easy ones and Arike's jumper is still cold.

Also, Clemson was bricking every jumper early and now they've made several including three 3s. The lead just keeps dwindling as I post. If I type any longer, it will be tied before the post goes through...

I know Clemson really wore down NC State when we played them. Of course, Notre Dame is deeper and can absorb that kind of grind...but it took a toll on the 7 players that usually play all the minutes for NC State.

ND is deeper in theory only. In practice, it was basically 6 players (starters plus Dani Patterson) that played the whole first half (with slight cameo by Jordan Nixon).

Clemson has 14 bench points at halftime. ND has 1.

They are very aggressive and come at you in waves. The kind of team it's no fun to play, especially at their place.
