My sense it is to drive student interest/culture to the team/building. They normally get in free to all home UConn sports/games as part of their student fees (this game they had to claim tickets I believe)...

Great event for the students. Kudos to the athletic department for putting this together. Should be a loud and very invested crowd. A 6 or 7 goal outburst for the good guys would make it a crazy night.

This x1000. I was there last night and it helped with the crowd without a doubt. Game time has a lot to do with it too. Noon basketball games and 3:05 / 4:05 hockey games are hard to get a buzz on and get the crowd into it.

Will be interesting if we hear BB tonight or will it be a UConn oriented goal song?

Hope we start some new traditions tonight. Up to you students now. Make some cool ones and I’ll follow along

Found it. Didn’t find it by searching UConn. Had to scroll LIVE games to find it
 
Being outplayed by the #58 Pairwise team that hasn’t played a game in a month.
 
The sound on the broadcast is very muted…can’t hear the crowd at all. But Joe D won’t stop talking…as usual. Randy is great with the play by play so far.

I have to have my volume max to hear anything. When it goes to break, oh boy

The PA announce / Someone tried to do U-C-O-N-N. Gotta coordinate and make tradition when you do chant.
After goal?
After announcement?
Can you do it during gameplay?

Always confused when they should do it so the entire crowd knows it’s time to scream
