Top 6th, after a fly out for the 1st out, Sullivan comes out of the game. Kirby comes in to pitch.

Kirby completes a scoreless inning after giving up a 2 out single. 5-1 Georgetown. Bottom 6th, pitching change for Georgetown.

Bottom 6th, a scoreless inning for the UConn offense, 5-1 Georgetown.

Top 7th, Kirby strands a runner at 2B after a 1 out double. 5-1 Georgetown.

Bottom 7th, UConn offense gets 2 runners in scoring position with 1 out. Daniels with a sac fly, 5-2 Georgetown, Smith gets thrown out at 3B on that play to end the inning.

Not a smart play by smith. Last out at third base and heart of order coming up. Gave away a couple outs on base paths with that and Garbo falling asleep at first. Will be shocked if that isn’t discussed in post game with Jones

Top 8th, after an infield single, Garbowski throws out a stolen base attempt for the first out. A 2 out solo homer, 6-2 Georgetown. Kirby comes out of the game, Tom Ellisen takes the mound. After a batter reaches base on a strikeout and another wild pitch, Ellisen gets the final out.

Georgetown gets the final out, and wins the game 6-2.

UConn does take the series, so that's good.

Thought we played really well game 1, better than the 6-3 score indicates. Game 2 was awful.
