Top 2nd, Butler pitching hitting and walking UConn batters again, as UConn loads the bases on free 90's with 1 out. Casey Dana with a sac fly, 4-0 UConn. Butler pitching has given up 4 walks and 1 hit by pitch so far in 2 innings.

Bottom 2nd, Stefanoni with another 1-2-3 inning. Enzo pretty efficient so far today, he has thrown 20 pitches.

Bottom 3rd, first 2 Butler batters reach on singles, followed by a hit by pitch to load the bases with no outs. Double play ball back to Stefanoni gets the runner at the plate for the first 2 outs. Fly out ends the inning with no runs coming in. 4-0 UConn. Stefanoni now at 32 pitches, he only threw 12 pitches that inning.

Top 4th, Simmons with a leadoff double, but he is stranded on base.

Bottom 4th, leadoff batter reaches 2B on an error by Stock. Stock having some fielding problems in the outfield of late. Stefanoni gets the next 2 batters on strikeouts, but a 2 out rbi double brings in a run. Stefanoni hits a batter, but then gets a fly out to end the inning. 4-1 UConn.
 
Top 5th, first 2 UConn batters reach base. Pitching change for Butler, their starting pitcher had given up 6 walks and 1 hit by pitch. A double play and strikeout end the inning with no runs coming in. 4-1 UConn.
 
Bottom 5th, a Padilla error puts the leadoff runner on 2B. A no out rbi double makes it 4-2. RBI single makes it 4-3. Donlan then throws out a stolen base attempt (I know, what a surprise). 4-3 Huskies going to the top of the 6th.

Lackluster performance so far. Shaky defense and too many missed opportunities on offense. Need to bring it every game. We really let that starter off the hook.

Top 7th, UConn loads the bases with no outs, pitching change for Butler. A no out Huber rbi fielders choice ground out makes it 6-3 Huskies with runners at the corners. Donlan follows with a 1 out rbi single, he advances to 2B on the throw, 7-3 UConn. Ferrer drives in 2 more runs with a 1 out single, 9-3 UConn. Padilla with a 1 out rbi double after a Simmons walk, 10-3 UConn.
