How about living out in right field there. Better put a hockey helmet on the kids and pets…

Way back in the 1970's I remember watching on television a Mets game against the Cubs at Wrigley Field. One of the Mets (I think it was David Kingman) hits a homer to left that takes one bounce and hits the door of a house across the street from Wrigley. Someone opens the door to the house to answer the knock.

Top 5th, UConn offense goes down 1-2-3 all on strikeouts. 3-2 Huskies.

Bottom 5th, a 2 out rbi Butler triple ties the game at 3. An rbi single gives Butler a 4-3 lead. All runs this inning are unearned, as the first Butler runner reached on an infield error by Padilla.

That worries me going from turf to a Natural playing surface.

I found this…not sure if it’s the one you mean. Kingman is with the Cubs for this one. Keep watching after the Bonds HR.

Bottom 6th, first 2 UConn batters reach, but nothing comes of it. 4-3 Butler.

Padilla is hurting us today. Terrible sac bunt attempt. Have to bunt that towards the first baseman. They better wake the heck up. This would be an atrocious loss.

The game I saw was a Mets game on Channel 9 in New York.

Bottom 6th, two 2 out hits for Butler lead to another run. Stock did not see the fly ball double on the hit that drove in the run. 5-3 Butler.

Top 7th, with runners on 1st and 2nd and 1 out, Huber with an rbi single to make it 5-4 Butler. Great diving catch by the Butler center fielder turns into a double play to end the inning.

Where is Simmons going on that play. If it drops in he's going to score anyway. Killing themselves today.

Bottom 7th, a collection of misplays in the field by UConn lead to 2 more runs for Butler to make the score 7-4 for Butler. With 2 out, Peterson comes out, O'Donnell comes in to pitch. Not a pretty game for the UConn defense or offense by any means.

Oh boy, you just hope us sleep walking one game doesn't cost us a post season birth. This is bad baseball. Guess they were due for one.

Bottom 7th, a lefty hitter gets a 2 out single off of O'Donnell, who faces only this one hitter. Jack Sullivan coming in to pitch. He gets a fly ball to end the inning. 7-4 Butler.

Top 8th, UConn in need of a rally goes down in order. 7-4 Butler.

Top 9th, Garbowski leads off with a single, Zach Stephenson pinch runs. Smith follows with a single. Kevin Ferrer pinch hits for Simmons. Ferrer reaches on an infield error bringing in a run to make it 7-5, runners on the corners. Stock follows with an rbi single, runners on the corners with no outs, 7-6 Butler.
