Dang…I left to help my neighbor with something, and come back to a 6-4 deficit. I knew I should have made some lame excuse. I accept full responsibility for the error in my viewing habits.
 
Top 6th, leadoff single for Northeastern. Afthim coming out, O'Donnell in to pitch. O'Donnell has a 1-2-3 inning with 2 strikeouts, stranding the runner at 2B. 6-4 Northeastern.

Top 7th, Devin Kirby in to pitch for UConn.

Top 8th, a no out rbi single for Northeastern, the score is now 7-4. A 2 out rbi single makes it 8-4 for Northeastern. A wild pitch followed by another single makes it 9-4. After Kirby hits a batter putting runners on 1st and 2nd with 2 outs, Sullivan coming in to pitch.

Just not our night. Cooke and Kirby who have both been really good struggled today, not a big deal, they will bounce back
 
Northeastern Is better than their record. I watched them live a few weeks ago against UConn. They’re tough. Sometimes a loss can wake a team up

Baseball just isn't a game where you win every game, despite what UConn baseball has done so far this season, which has been pretty amazing.

Braden Quinn in to pitch the top of the 9th.
 
Top 9th, Quinn with a quick 1-2-3 inning. Good to see him back on the mound again having success.

Chris Jones has been talking about the Northeastern baseball program all night and the success that they have had in recent years. Yes, he likes their team quite a bit.
