When college football started taking its business bigtime, killing rivalry, pomp, and circumstance in favor of TV dollars, Astroturf PR campaigns and "rebranding", etc, they turned this beautiful sport and collegiate community of athletics into a commercial, bloodless enterprise.
They will reap the results of that action.
