Great game. Missouri is a tough, physical veteran team...the type that can topple Illinois. Kofi is a mountain, but if he can be neutralized by a strong, steady post-presence (Tilmon/Mitchell Smith mostly are one of the same, but both have played on the floor at the same time too) and help from physical, capable wings (Michael Smith/Pickett, then Illinois doesn't have that toughness that is prevalent in the Big Ten. For example, I can see Rutgers giving Illinois a tough time. Steady dose of Johnson/Cliff with Harper helping when needed.
If Xavier Pinson and Mark Smith continue their offensive surge (combined 29.2 ppg this year vs. 21.1 ppg last year), then Missouri will have enough backcourt firepower to do damage in March.
