Cori Close loves the street ball style of play. Freshmen of Oregon getting a lesson on that style of play

Oregon tightening the thumbscrews. UCLA seems to be choking.

According to gamecast, both teams turning the ball over.

Ouch. I thought Oregon was winning for sure.

Didn't look like UCLA was ever losing this game to me. The final score wasn't indicative of a close game.

Good lessons for the rookies playing a quick, hands team. Saw some lazy passes get knocked away Or stolen. It ain’t high school anymore. Dugalic is a player. Looking forward to the next few years.

UCLA once again foiling the narrative of those who insist on discounting them. They pretty much led the entire game here.
The only ones I know discounting them were a couple of Stanford posters early on in the season

At this point in the season Dugalic has my most improved frosh award.

From when the game was tied at 71 both teams made error after error, so not a great finish, but an entertaining game to watch.

Interesting to see Graves prefer the Freshman in the fourth, when they made there 11-0 run to tie.

Dugalic and Pao Pao where great overall but made a couple of errors down the stretch.
  • Dugalic made no attempt to box out Onyenwere on her missed three, which lead to her rebound and go-ahead 2.
  • Pao Pao made to an extra pass to Dugalic for an open 3, but it would have been much better for her to take the shot after Shelley had already penetrated and kicked it out to her.
  • Pao Pao dribbled out most of the 7 secs on clock on the last possession for a contested shot in the lane.

Twenty-three out of 26 survey respondents predicted an Oregon win here.

Others chimed in with emphatic predictions of a decisive Oregon advantage and win.

Probably because they know Cori Close? Worst waste of talent with past pac-12 teams she has had. Her coaching ummmm. Maybe they will hang a banner up with the final score.
