Love seeing Oregon’s freshmen getting experience out there. The future looks bright for themParrish shooting Oregon back in this one. Timeout Stanford. 64-55, 5:49 left.

Must be given the veterans a chance to play over the freshmen who have held up well as a learning experience. 😆 LolOregon going with an experienced lineup to match Stanford’s late in the game.
Freshmen will put on the heat for playing time over her.Mikesell 3-12 and 0-3 from three point territory. She was prone to have games like this when she was at Maryland.

They should be. They are incredibly inexperienced and have fought very hard in both losses, making big comebacks in the 4th after the game appeared to be out of reach. They've also been without arguably their best player in Sedona Prince for most of the season. Give them another year or two and they'll be a legitimate title favorite. The take away from Oregon fans on social media is they are really proud of the team and the future direction they are heading.
Watch it??
Both Mikesell and Sabally were/are very streaky and inefficient on the offensive side. Sabally at least is a strong defender and rebounder but no way should she be the first option on offense. Oregon needs to go back to last year’s offense that focused on more of an outside game and driven by guard play and pick and rolls. All of Sabally’s shots are within the paint but she constantly has shot less than 50 percent. She continues to rush whenever she is guarded (which is all the time) causing missed layups and caused excessive turnovers. Was hoping that this was due to her long layoff but doesn’t seem to be getting better. Needs to realize that with her superior height and strength, very few will be able to stop her shot once she has position in the low post.Mikesell 3-12 and 0-3 from three point territory. We’ve talked quite a bit about how talented and deep this team is/was but what we didn’t mention was how much heart and perseverance this team has to not just survive all the limitations on home games/practices, living on the road for as long as they have but to play as well and consistently as they have during this. I eventually believe you will agree with me this is one of Stanford’s best teams ever, top 3 in my book and if they can win the title will have earned the #1 Stanford top team moniker over Jen Azzi or Molly Goodenbour teams. Just sayin’Work keeping me too busy to watch the game yet, but wow I’m proud. Apparently they’ve been without Lexie, Jump, and Jerome all week so they didn’t have ten to practice and the younger coaches had to play in practice. And they haven’t been back home since Thanksgiving. Really proud of them keeping calm and carrying on through so much adversity.

Sabally has done a nice job stopping the Stanford bigs. Held Belibi, Brink, and Prechtel in check.
Well said. This team's ability to play the way they have has been impressive. I don't know if I'd have the mettle to manage like they have. We’ve talked quite a bit about how talented and deep this team is/was but what we didn’t mention was how much heart and perseverance this team has to not just survive all the limitations on home games/practices, living on the road for as long as they have but to play as well and consistently as they have during this.
