I was one of the 14 who picked Uarizona to win. While I don't have a great deal of confidence in Barnes coaching (she is a magnificent recruiter) I did think the talent differential favored Uarizona so much that they couldn't lose. Gonzales has really shined through the first three quarters while McDonald's hasn't.

In terms of coaching I responded to a comment by @KnightBridgeAZ that's surprised me. Evidently Barnes said she thought the kitties would lose to Rutgers. Curious comment by a coach.

5 minutes remaining in the game Barnes calls time out. Love to know what she's drawn up in the huddle.

I would strongly suspect it's give the ball to McDonald's and let's look for some hero ball.

Wonder woman nails a three and the kitties are within one.

Then sidekick Sam Thomas nails another three to give the kitties the lead. in my view Sam Thomas is the one who will dictate the distance the kitties go in this game and in the dance.

Has UA been doing rope a dope the whole game? 3-14 behind the arc, then drilled 2 in a row to take the lead.

After being stymied all game, Arizona found some scoring at the end. Up 50-46 w/ 14 seconds left.

52-46 final Arizona. Aari must've stepped up down the stretch. She finished w/ 17, had 10 last time I checked the box score.

After kitties escaped watched Nixon as Wonder woman for A and M in the miracle in Texas. Then the Longhorn win over the Bruins, impressive in her absence Collier.

I do have the kitties meeting A and M in my boneyard bracket.

So the kitties big win cements the coaching prowess of Barnes and Coppa.

Would have been nice if announcers actually called the game, things like fouls, who they were on, etc. Important players coming into game injured then getting injured again during game and not really playing again.
