So Louisville's starting backcourt for the majority of the season is grad transfers. The philosophy works if you get the rights ones. I know many disagree but I hope we land 1 or 2 this cycle. Ideally, we won't really on grad transfers and I doubt Mack will for the long run but without a good grad transfer or two, we are slated for another missed tournament.

I think they are 2 years away from being a top 2/3 seed again. The recruiting class has great depth with 5 guys ranked between 40-100 but typically recruits of this caliber take a year or 2.

But Louisville was a 7 seed with the grad transfers. Would they be a tournament team without? We wouldn't have been a tournament team without Miller or Gibbs, thats for sure. In both instances the additions pushed the teams over the hump. You sell a kid on being the piece in making us a tournament team and you aren't even lying.
