10 Best College Basketball Programs From The Last 10 Years

I still put them ahead of Wisconsin and Villanova. Final Fours 3 to 2. It's not only the titles.

Essentially, the last 3 years have been tough on the program.

If you did this 4 years ago, it would have read, 3 national championships, 4 Final Fours, 5 Elite 8s.

But, but, but, where is Syracuse?

I know some of them like to downplay our accomplishments (since 4>1), but in the last decade we are top 7 or in accomplishments nationally fairly easily. Since 2010 we have 15 tournament wins, 2 Final 4's and an Elite 8. In that same stretch they have 13 tournament wins - 2 championship runs account for 12 of those wins.

Imagine being chastised for having 2 championships in 4 years, compared to zero.

Not too much to complain about here. We belong in the bottom five of this list somewhere, the specific spots are debatable. I'd probably put us at 7, Nova at 8, Florida at 9 and Wisconsin at 10.

From Barstool Sports. Because everyone loves lists. UConn hanging on in the top 10.

Barstool Sports

The top 6 Programs have had the Head Coach throughout. So ... thats where we had a hiccup (IMHO). We can start - with Kevin Ollie - to crawl back to a position that our transition is far greater than the other notable Blue Bloods that puked: Indiana, UCLA, UNLV, Georgetown.

9 is fair. Consistency has to be a major factor. If we did this list in 2014, I'd argue we should be top 3.

Yeah, I don't see either of those teams ahead of us.

Since the writer seems to take points off for "luck", perhaps he added points to Wiscy for perceived bad luck.

I always hate when people do this. Even the best teams need a few lucky bounces to win championships. It's part of the deal.

Proof that UConn basketball fandom is like a family: we talk crap about the team all day but jump to their defense any time someone says something less than flattering.
