This is the game that brings the final nail to the coffin? A game we weren’t picked to win when it was scheduled and one we were competitive in for the majority? I too want wins and don’t believe in moral victories, but cmon. You want improvement and got it. You want effort. It was there. Ollie was not glued with that face on the bench. He had a plan.

This is the "wait until next year" mentality that we have heard since 2014. It's not working. Sometimes change for change's sake is required.

I'm unequivocally for one more season.

Give him Sid, Akinjo, maybe Gilbert, Jalen back, and all the young guys on the team a year under their belt.

If he doesn't win with that then adios.

Not sure about JA, he'll probably be back (not sure if that's good or bad), but Larrier won't be back. His game is well-suited to the NBA. I think he can contribute at the next level. He has NBA-quality moves.

I still contest the Gilbert injury is the achilles heel of KO's demise.

Give him one more season, the makeup of the team next year will be drastically different and far improved.

Not to mention the recruiting losses if KO's canned.
Then what will be the excuse next year? KO's time has come. I was at the auburn game and saw a coach so lifeless that he has no energy to excite the players. He seems like a coach just going through the motions. If we finish below .500 he will be gone no matter the money. I hope he saves face and accepts a lower buyout.

I like UConn as a dominant force. Not the underdog. Don't get me wrong, I like winning better, but this 'hoping to steal a win' crap in between debating whether Ollie has it in him sucks
Unfortunately it's reality. Can't hide from that.

See my 2nd post 2 posts before yours.

Their is no excuse next year, the talent he'll have if he does nothing with it then adios.

Next game can we bring him to center court and have him say, "F-I-R-E-D" and we all chant back, "OLLIE, OLLIE, OLLIE." Then AD David Benedict escorts Ollie off the court and we all cheer. This is my dream boys

Define the 'everyone' who wants him here after a win? Nowadays those who want him after a win are quite small. I didn't want him hired in the first place and hated how JC forced him on the school.
I was all for Ollie when JC left but im not blind. He has to go! The recruiting, development and level of coaching has gone down the drain in the last couple years. This is unacceptable and cannot continue.

Problem is it is too late then. We can't afford 3 losing seasons. I don't see anything in Ollie's coaching and building a program to get me excited.
