Not a lot of USA players have 3x3 experience. Those invited do have experience with 3x3 and are active in 3x3 tournaments and multiple USAB training camps not just 3x3.
The article below discusses all participants' experience with 3x3 and USAB programs.

Yep ... I knew that. Lou had surgery for a non WNBA injury (injured during UConn season). It was announced the surgery would keep her out 8 weeks but she never returned. Lou did occupy one of the 12 roster spots for the entire season. Lou played with Zabiny Brno and is now with Jairis is the...
It would propose that most draftees are not WNBA ready. That and the fact that teams can not hold more than 12 players. In fact it appears most teams don't want to carry that many but only the bare minimum required by the CBA. Teams will make a few big salaries but the rest of the roster are...
I've followed Clark for 4 years. I've greatly enjoyed her play. She is certainly one of the most talented players to come around in many years. The things I've always disliked is her pleading for fouls, and her flopping. When she flopped on that fan AFTER the Ohio State game ... well she...
Caroline tried it last year.... it is called an Q Collar.

Yes ... at least according to a USAToday article: "Hidalgo said one of the officials told her during warm-ups that she would need to take it out. She asked if she could cover it instead and said she was told that would be fine. At the end of the first quarter, however, Hidalgo said she was told...
Reading thru all these posts it appears:
ND was notified during game warmups HH would need to remove the stud.
At the end of the 1st quarter, ND was notified HH could not return until she removed the stud
If true ND was given ample notice but HH did not remove the stud. Given HH comments...
Olivia Miles injured her knee Feb 26, 2023 .... don't know why she waited until April until she had surgery. What she did to her knee or what kind of surgery she has has never been disclosed.
I don't think the foul was intentional. The player appeared to apologize to AE in the handshake line after the game. But the foul was to the head and should have been elevated.
UConn has 7 without AE and Amari.
Last year it was stated the Big East has a rule a team must have 7 scholarship players ready to play with no restrictions or the school forfeits.
schools should be allowed to associate individual sports with conferences that meet their competitive reality.
The networks and big football conferences are going to fight this though. Contracts bundle along with football broadcast rights the "lesser sports" because networks need the...
No ... sorry you just can't compare it to men's NCAA. Its apples and oranges. I am not talking difference between men and women but rather the fact that men, the really good ones just don't play 4 years. One did play a 5th covid year but still came up short.
no shot clock, no 3 point line...
Larry Bird coached the Pacers in Indianapolis for several years, 40 miles or so from Indiana State in Terre Haute where Larry Bird played his college ball.
Paige is going to make AA and it isn't just on narrative. She is producing excellent numbers across the board, points rebounds assists fg% 3pt%. Steals, Blocks all around outstanding defense. And all of this while playing out of position. But it is also so much more, especially in the WBCA...
Paige is going to win and it isn't just on narrative. She is producing excellent numbers across the board, points rebounds assists fg% 3pt%. Steals, Blocks all around outstanding defense. And all of this while playing out of position. Outstanding leadership, the glue that holds the team...
Paige and Ice both were out a year before returning to 5 on 5 play.
Olivia Miles injured her knee late Feb 2023 and is not likely to return this year.
If you are going to be realistic then given the above; Jana should be back for the beginning of 2024-25 season. Ayanna may be back in...
WBCA Criteria for POY...
Criteria
□ Present year game-by-game statistics
□ Effect on team
□ Leadership
□ Character
□ Overall playing ability
If I were a voter, at least one, maybe two candidates would have an issue with number 4
I vote for Cameron Brink as POY
Counting the COVID year, all four have an additional year of competition available .... Paige actually has two years remaining.
BUT .... wrt the COVID year, technically there is no obligation for UConn to offer the additional scholarship year.
One of the best FR classes that UCONN has had in years?
I think 12's comments are right on .... note 12 wrote "one of the best" which is certainly not the same as "the best". objectively speaking, comparing that earlier class's freshmen stats to this class and they are pretty much on par...
