It's really about the OL. If they take a huge step forward (and that's a big if), and if Shireffs can stay healthy, I can live with an average pass rush and a slew of fair catches.
I just don't want to see any coaching debacles like I saw in Mizzou last year.
Last year I was ok with this strategy because I genuinely thought we may not have had the depth to field a competent PR unit nor did we have the personnel required at the return spot.
This is year 3 for Diaco. This should be fixed by now. I'll reserve my outrage until I see what happens with...
You are out of your league here kid.
You are probably one of the dummy 20 something year old fanboys who have no connection to UConn that everyone on the BY mocks and ridicules.
Benedict has said outright that if we want to get into a P5 conference we need to fill BOTH the Rent and Gampel...
There's something to this. I think there's a lot of young 20 something year fanboys here who only know UConn as a basketball powerhouse with no other connection to the university than as a hoops fan.
Has nothing to do with basketball genius. I guess our AD and those put in charge of getting us into a P5 conference aren't as sharp on the take as you are. You should really school them on this topic. UConn needs you.
In that case, I'll bring some Shipyard beers just let me know where you're at.
P.S. The lobster roll better be hot, with butter, on a toasted New England roll. Mayo lobster rolls are criminal.
I'd guess the majority of people who don't watch any football at all have no connection to UConn other than rooting for the men's basketball team. Yes, I know there are exceptions to this. So pipe down.
