    OT: Louisville and ACC

You mean his cheating ways, acquiring 3 and 4 star athletes? UofL's best recruiting year ever was ranked #25 in the country. Petrino's last year's ranking was #35. His 2004 class which produced 13 NFL players and was ranked as #9 in the post-dated ranks following their matriculation, came in at...

    ACC network officially happening

LMAO. You're obviously a UK fan. Who cares what you think? Hating the town you live in - lol, congratulate yourself on a live fully lived!! I've lived in Vancouver, BC, Santa Cruz, California, Reno, Nevada and Portland, Oregon and I rate Louisville as equally appealing. Of course, much of the...

    ACC network officially happening

It's an urban university, lol. What do you think it's mission should have been? Not that ot matters...................in an article about the outgoing President, these are some facts around his tenure - to update you own perceptions, if nothing else. UConn's national ranking would set it about...

Your salt is warm and tasty. Have a terrific time wherever you end up.

    ACC network officially happening

I chose this post simply because of it's paradigmatic assessment of relative self worth between the schools. The myth of academic excellence has never extended to your sports teams, no matter your glowing pride over your supposed lofty status in academics for your general college population. It...

    ACC network officially happening

A primary difference between the Big 12 and ACC is in the more expansive and inclusive vision of the ACC. West Virginia is only now receiving a full share of revenues having endured the humiliation of red headed step children in a conference run by bean counters at Texas for their four years of...

    ACC network officially happening

Surely a league that typically projects 50% of its members into the tourney can draw a few eyeballs. In Olympic Sports, Louisville fans have always supported the squads in every way, and on very regular basis. Bowl Boards remember things like the 35K Louisville took to the Orange Bowl and an...

    ACC network officially happening

Pay attention. That's all I got. Shirley you will. UofL has been streaming players into the NFL. With Petrino back and a hot QB, you may want to watch. Then also, with FSU and Clemson on tap before October, we'll know early. I like where we're at.

    ACC network officially happening

On the contrary, I would say the ACC is not only on solid footing, but that their general more compelling image is expanding. Louisville has added additional Oomph to football with our current trajectory. The division we play in has 3 Top 15 teams, a National Champion and a National Runnerup and...

    ACC network officially happening

I hold out hope that UConn will eventually join the ACC. One has to like the media product, for one thing, in terms of your demographics and the NYC audience. For another, the schadenfreude of watching you guys deal with the ACC "blue bloods" would show a similar intrigue that we supply them...

Bwahahaha. I think you meant World's Shortest Giant, didn't you? :) You realize I do have standards, right? Thank you all for such a warm response. I've been watching you when I can. I really like Ollie, especially after that last run. You guys have etched a permanent spot in basketball...

Funny, one of the boards I visit the most is Kansas. It's an entertaining site with some fart smellers and now and then absoltutely riotous threads. Their Scout board has a Hall Of Fame for Photoshop stuff that has to be seen. Back to the point, watching their fans reactions has been a study in...

    Recruiting Problems??

I think getting Juwan Durham was a big win on someone injured now and currently (sort of) under the radar. This guy is a great investment, imo. Ollie and UConn are still huge names in the sport. I miss you guys in conference. Louisville and UConn were a template on making one another better.

Montrezl Harrel to return to Louisville

Trez will work on his midrange shot - he is close now. Gorgui Dieng's draft stock rose like a bullet when he showed his accuracy with the elbow jumper. His free throws are also a mess, having gone down rather than up in percentage. Trez has a 7' 4" wing span, works harder than anyone in...
