UMass lost to Bryant. Bryant is 2-5, their only other win is against DII Bentley. Bryant is winless in the CAA. Maine drubbed them and Maine is middling FCS at best. It's hard to overstate how dramatically terrible UMass is.

Also the current AD at Penn State was the AD at Temple when Rhule was in his glory days there.

If he can make them a mid-tier MAC team they might make a statue of him. Except they would never spend the money, of course. That said, I have no idea how he is going to make that program mid-tier MAC. He has to wake up wondering if he has dead-ended his career.
