UMass > MAC for all sports in 2025-2026

I'm on board. Let the MAC run some trial balloons. Split the league into 3, 4 team pods (one pod would have 5 teams) based on geography/rivalry. Play home and home against the three opponents in your pod, with two games against other pods to get 8 conference games. Top 3 teams, plus one second...

I would love to go to the ACC specifically as a jumping off point for leaving the ACC.

    More trouble in ACC paradise?

Seems like they could benefit from playing a scrappy, upstart Independent.

Key tweets, and it's all gone to Hell.

All anybody cares about is football. And we are stuck in purgatory until we've burned off all the stink of Diaco and Edsall. There is a lot of stink left to burn, unfortunately.

    UConn in the NFL

1 Diaco recruit and two Edsall recruits if I remember right. If you recast that 2019 schedule into the present it was a bear -- 2 Big 10 teams (Illinois and Indiana), 3 Big 12 Teams (Houston, Cincinnati, UCF), and 5 AAC teams (plus Wagner and UMass). No wonder Edsall gave up on 2020.

    Interview w/ AD David Benedict

Not only that, but, with that savings, we have just as good a chance at making the CFP every year as Maryland and Rutgers.

Get Us Out of This God-Forsaken Conference

Much of which you consume you must excrete. Not that this will help us at all, but it may be the best entertainment we get.

Get Us Out of This God-Forsaken Conference

For now we're stuck where we are. Hopefully HC JC will make football attractive enough to get us somewhere else. In the meantime, let's beat the crap out of Georgetown tonight.
