Perhaps, just perhaps, this team is learning how to win. Great victory by our Huskies. They offense was magnificent. And the defense made just enough plays to win.
Hope Duke goes on to win the ACC.
He is working on his team. It had nothing to do with the score or opponent. A big part of what happened last night was getting in game condition and going 100% when a player was on the court. Maybe add in building a little chemistry. Hurley has work to do.
He stays behind the arc. He's thinking he will be open for a corner three. But the guy on Solo drifts far enough back to cut off that pass. Nothing wrong with it. But given the result, cutting would have been a better option.
Castle needs the ball in his hands to improve. That should be the focus of the Spurs, not getting the ball out of his hands. The goal should be to make him an all-NBA player. For now, live with his mistakes. It will pay off in the long run.
Thanks for the UML preview. Very nice. It's fun watching the team getting into game condition and developing a little chemistry.
After having watched numerous Hurley teams over the years, I suspect offensive rebounding will be a focus this time out.
The sooner you start making millions of dollars the sooner you can put that money to work to make more money. A one or two year headstart on building that wealth ( in capable hands) becomes a nest egg that produces millions in ten years.
Alex is 6-8 in shoes (6' 6.5 in barefeet) with a extraordinary 6-11 wingspan. His standing vertical measured at the NBA combine was 32 inches which is also above average -- Google Gemini
His above average basketball IQ also allows him to play faster than his large frame would suggest.
