This might have a silver lining if we can get rid of Campbell, Elon NC A&T and Hampton.
CAA Football then becomes a nice regional FCS league....

Well guys...sorry it didn't go your way. I was really rooting for him to become a Husky. I will never be a Duke fan, but I hope he does well while he is there.
I know that it is/was Cooper's dream to play for Duke.....but I truly feel like he is a better fit for UConn. Don't give up hope Husky fans....you might get an early Christmas present.
Indiana's Mackenzie Holmes is a 6-3 freshman from Gorham, Maine. She has had a terrific start to her collegiate career.

The Maine/UNC game wasn't even that close coming down the stretch. UNC scored some garbage points in the last minute. Maine is without their top frontcourt player & played 5 guards most of the game.
Really would have been something if Maine had beat both Duke & UNC this season.
Maine dug themselves a hole in the 1st half with horrific shooting. Nice 2nd half effort though. Duke will obviously have growing pains this season....good luck!
They are expecting a near sellout (5K) on Thursday night (7:00pm) at the Cross Insurance Center in Bangor. JMP is returning to her home state to coach against her former team and PG Amy Vachon who is now Maine's HC. Ton's of storylines for this one.....
1. #21 Duke is coming off blowout road...
Never count out JPM. She was worshiped at Maine & the Black Bears have never seen as much success since she left. JPM reminds me of one of my favorite Stephen King characters....Vera Donovan - "“Sometimes you have to be a high riding b*tch to survive, sometimes, being a b*tch is all a woman...
This should be an interesting match-up on Thursday @ 7:00pm on ESPN2.
I'm picking Duke in an upset here.
Both of these teams are on Maine's upcoming gaunlet of road games with the Black Bears facing the Buckeyes on Sunday and then 2 weeks later @ #6 Mississippi State (12/17) & @ Duke (12/19)...
