Other games (Sunday 12/2)

Am I the only one who wonders why Duke and UNC have not let go, moved on from their head coaches yet? I thought for sure Duke was going to make a change a couple of years ago, the same with UNC. Do their ADs just not care?

Money has something to do with it.

I think you are correct. WBB not a priority anymore at either school. Least Duke played well at the end of last season. Most of the time Duke looks unwatchable. Duke and NC being weaker has really helped Jeff Walz in conference. He is 8-1 verse them. He is 2-4 vs ND (respectable) and 1-4 vs Fl State (since joining ACC)

It's another one of those doesn't matter kind of games, but Ionescu has 17 assists today against Long Beach St. She isn't scoring much, but everybody else is.

Zags are stomping Stanford.

La Tech wins 79-62 over Bama
Guinto the La Tech pg 17 pts 1 assist and 7 turnovers. Definitely a shoot first pg.

The difference maker for La Tech is Kierra Anthony, who scored 25 on 12-of-19 shooting against Alabama.

A couple weeks ago she was named espnW player of the week after scoring a school-record 50 points in an overtime win over Houston:
La. Tech's Anthony is espnW's player of the week

Some additional stats for Oregon vs. Long Beach State: The final score was 110-48. Ionescu took only 6 shots and hit 5 of them; Hebard had a double/double (19 and 14); Boley led all scorers with 24 pts., and Sabally and Cazorla had 18 each. 8 players suited up for the Ducks, with 6 in double figures and the 7th close.

Man, South Carolina is bad. Good thing they have some recruits coming in next year.

I'm pretty surprised that Missouri, which has struggled a lot this season, put the stomp on West Virginia in Morgantown. Sophie Cunningham once again suffered major foul trouble, scoring 4 points in only 18 minutes before fouling out. But Amber Smith went off for 28 and 13.

The Maine/UNC game wasn't even that close coming down the stretch. UNC scored some garbage points in the last minute. Maine is without their top frontcourt player & played 5 guards most of the game.

Really would have been something if Maine had beat both Duke & UNC this season.

Now I REALLY have to take a Thank-You vacation to Maine in the future :p:D:)
