I don't think it's ridiculous, but I would like to see it be 1,2,4,8,16,32. Isn't a championship at least double the worth of a final four?
I'd also like to see it from 1985 when the tourney went to 64.
Only thing I have to add is that Duke was anointed Blue Blood almost immediately after winning three or four without much debate. Their history is only 8 years more than ours (yes, they had some final fours before that). Their first in 91, our first in 99. And their last is 8 years older than...
in order of intensity after UConn basketball:
Chase Elliott NASCAR (then any Hendrick teammates)
Arizona Cardinals Football
St Louis Cardinals Baseball
UConn Women's hoops
L.A. Kings Hockey
When I was a kid, I was a big 76ers fan for basketball but don't follow the NBA at all anymore.
It's also great when you have heart burn/indigestion. A few tablespoons of pickle juice relieves it in minutes. We always keep pickle juice in jars when we've consumed all the pickles in our fridge.
I find it funny that people haven't figured out his schtick yet and respond as if it's a serious post.
I can't decide if he's just a Duke troll or a UConn fan who likes to say silly stuff regarding UConn/Duke for reactions.
Samson Johnson leads with 115. Karaban currently at 103 with 19 regular season games plus the tournaments. Could well be one of those records that is never broken.
I like the idea - seems like a win win win for everyone (cept for the teams that lose). You could easily schedule 2 high quality opponents. Even name the events - MLK Week (like Feast week). You could probably even do some 4 team tourneys on Monday/Thursday. Just because it was ignored once...
Yeah - the one who made it about Duke is the same one that put the Duke over UConn in 1990 picture in the greatest UConn photos thread.
He's just a Duke fan that likes to stir stuff up.
Best that everyone ignore and not engage his stuff.
