My guess is that UNC administrators want the B1G while the Athletic department and fans want SEC.
Since they will probably be able to go to either if/when the ACC reckoning comes, it will be an interesting internal battle between the sides.

These are now roster limits and schools can choose to give any number of scholarships.

This is an antiquated view on recruiting.
Any coaches ability to recruit, in today’s world, is based on how much money he has to offer. Kids aren’t going to play for any coach without getting paid.
