Saturday, September 21st marks the biggest home game in UConn Football history.
What better way to celebrate "10 Years at Rentschler Field" than with your UConn
Huskies playing host to the #15 Michigan Wolverines! You've got a ticket (or a
few)... and that means you will be part of the largest crowd ever at the Rent!

We need you to GET LOUD. We need you to GET INTO THE STADIUM EARLY! We need
YOU!

And... just In case this matchup isn’t incentive enough to get in early, here’s
an added bonus:

All fans that are in their seats prior to 7:45pm will be entered to win one of
several prizes. One lucky fan will win the Grand Prize - an Apple iPad and 4
Chairback season tickets for the 2014 season! Three other winners will receive
a pair of tickets to Michael Buble at the XL Center on Wednesday, September 25
at 8pm.

MEET THE 2013-14 WOMEN’S BASKETBALL TEAM AT FANFEST (located between Gates A and
B): In addition to sponsor giveaways, the UConn Women’s Basketball team will be
in attendance signing autographs at the Marketing tent from 6:15pm to 7:15pm.
Bring the family over and get a poster signed by the whole team AND get a
picture with the 2013 NCAA National Championship Trophy!

MEET 2003 UCONN FOOTBALL TEAM CAPTAINS SEAN MULCAHY AND UYI OSUNDE AT FANFEST:
Visit the Hyundai display at FanFest between 6:15pm and 7:15pm to get autographs
from two of the captains of the team that opened the Rent. Sean and Uyi both
moved on to play in the NFL and are coming back to the Rent to celebrate 10
Years of UConn Football at Rentschler Field

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP HALFTIME RECOGNITION: Remain in your
seats for halftime as we honor our 2013 Women’s Basketball National Championship
team.

I've been a big advocate of bribery to get folks in to seats early for quite some time... nice to see it put in to action. That's one hell of a nice grand prize. I was thinking more along the lines of concession coupons or $100 bucks so yeah they went above and beyond on this one!

Would it have killed them to open the lots at, say 1 or 2pm? It's only the biggest home game ever. Let's celebrate it!

First, I absolutely love that promo.

Second, I agree with the poster lamenting the 4:00 gate opening. I think UCONN fans can tailgate with the best of them, but the opening 3 and 4 hours before kickoff is ridiculous.

I am fired up. I get up to CT for 1 or 2 games a year, and go to away games in my area (Temple, Maryland). We need to stay positive and support this team all night. National audience, recruits for football and basketball in attendance. Let' s show them what great fans we are. Let Warde worry about making the right coaching decisions.

2) my crew has decided to begin tailgating at 2pm at my friend's house. We have a crew of 10 guys going and hope we bought enough beer;

Have you tried giving them a different address. For all the bad things about the AD - I've never seen a single
problem in simple tasks.

My guess it was a last minute idea and sending out 30K emails all at once isn't possible. Most should get them by tomorrow afternoon. Not that it will matter for many.

I used to get emails from them, but in the past year or maybe even two years, there's been all kinds of problems where I read about people here getting stuff that I never see in my own inbox. And it's not just me, there's a recurring problem here with a lot of us - it's been discussed here.
