Rutgers is throwing a kid that has been in trouble all year with a high walk%, but has wiggled his way out of trouble almost every start. Hopefully the dam breaks today and Sully continues to throw strikes & doesn't get rattled by random singles.

And by singles, I mean leadoff home runs

2-0 going to the bottom of the first, great defense by Daniels and a misread by the Rutgers baserunners limit the damage. That could have been MUCH worse for us.

Love for Rutgers nearly hit one out on a good pitch that hit the outside corner.

Rutgers has their flaws but man they can hit. They're a little like Wake Forest without a top notch ace pitcher.

Scoreless inning for Sullivan. He's hitting his corners without walking anyone. Although he throws pretty hard, his fastball looks a little flat to me. The breaker is good and has gotten some swings and misses. I'm fine with him as the Sunday starter from what I have seen.

Top 4th, infield misplay on a popup puts the leadoff runner at 2B. A no out single drives in a run, 3-2 Rutgers. After another single, Garbowski picks off the runner at 2B who ended up trying to steal 3B but was out. A double play ends the inning, 3-2 Rutgers the score.
