With one game remaining tonight (Lowell @ Alaska Anchorage) Hockey is 6-0 versus out-of-conference teams. Five of the wins were in regulation, one in OT (BC over national champ QU).

Exactly. Neither team had power play goals but each had a shorty. 20 win team UConn had 21 players return, and ECAC tournament champs Colgate 20. Sure there were broken plays on each side, but this is a very good win and start on the road against a quality, experienced team. Sergeev was very strong in net, also a good sign. We’ll see if there are any significant injuries reported before today’s bout.

I checked to see what happened to Bradley.

In the 2nd period he took a penalty with 14:37 remaining and after came out for a shift. UConn then got a power play with 9:21 remaining. Before the faceoff, Bradley came out onto the ice and was moving his left leg around and went back to the bench. That was the end of his night.

Besides being knocked to the ice earlier in the 2nd period, I didn’t see anything noticeable.
