Last weekend's tie at UMass was a big positive, especially on the road, considering how well UMass has played in the first half. This weekend, the Huskies have a massive test at home against Maine. If they do well this weekend, watch out. It could be a springboard.

If we win Friday, you're seeing Sergeev Saturday because then we can kinda play with house money. My only issue is that is confidence is definitely shot right now and one game where he lets in 4 or 5 goals he could be toast for the rest of the season.
I’d say you continue to put Haider in net until your forced to sit him…fatigue or injury. We’re talking about 21 yr old D1 athletes. I wouldn’t look at it as abandoning Sergeev but Haider won out and gives em the best chance to win. Throw Sergeev in the fire if needed, I think he’ll respond better then looking for a moment to get him ice time to work on his personal confidence. If they need him, he’s on their roster for a reason!
Cav has tended to ride his top goalie regardless. Unless Haider absolutely needs a breather, why on earth would you replace him against one of the best teams in the country? I think a couple of years ago we played the same goalie all but 1 game. Last year once Sergeev earned the top job he played almost every game the rest of the way, too.
