Texas looked tired at the end of the 2nd.

If you can't do it the finesse way, do it the elbow grease way. Nice surge by the Huskies at the end of the quarter there.

Baskets in the Paint at the Half
UConn 4 + 4 =8
Texas 3 + 5 =8

As of today this is the most important game of the year, regardless of the final score.

That was a nice battle back job! Texas really has a great gameplan and they are executing it very well. Unfortunately we have been cooperating with that a lot.

How is that UConn hits a basket at the buzzer of every single quarter?
They practice that. Seriously. They practice last second, need a bucket to win scenarios.

McCarty can’t keep going under the screen, giving Dangerfield the open shot.

Basically, Crystal, Lou and to a lesser extent Kia are embracing this game.

Respectfully I think that is confirmation bias on your part. The stereotypical UConn moment for years now has been Geno calling a time out just before halftime, drawing up a play, and seeing everything go terribly wrong.

Then again, he didn't call a time out this time. Maybe that's the secret to final play success. :D
