Minick comes in to pinch run for Padilla, and in a double steal he scores. 6-2 UConn. Padilla had some sort of injury.

Quick thoughts:
1) Great to see guys who struggled contribute : Dalena, Sullivan, Ellison , Kron,etc. has to help the confidence especially Dalena with 2 2-out RBI singles.
2) they took SQuigs out at the perfect time. No need to mess around with bullpen fresh. Quinn pitched well ran into some bad luck. threw well. Great diving catch by Simmons but he bobbled the ball and Daniels couldn’t scoop it Would have had him doubled off then CBU scored after that but they fought threw it.
3) left a lot of guys on base but kept plugging and Dalena got the key 2 out hits.
4) tammaro gets picked off a lot….wow
5) Afhtim for 2 innings love to see it. They learned from the UCSB debacle on the Saturday game. Don’t give them a sniff. Have a chance slam the door shut.
6) finish the cali swing 4-4 and take the series after starting 0-3. Makes for a much more pleasant flight home and confidence should be rising. Let’s see if they can build something now. Hopefully it’s starting to come together.
