Couldn't really tell. Hasn't come back in yet, though.

So far I am unimpressed with the USA play ...except for 1 thing, Crystal appears to be cut from the same cloth as Moriah. She's the quickest one on the floor, her footwork and passes are abrupt and quick. She's a keeper!

USA leads 15-13 end of 1st quarter. USA is getting called for fouls, Stats show 5, think its at least 6. Spain ZERO fouls called on them.

Too much dribbling by Team USA. A'ja Wilson has returned to the game.

edit: I don't think she has the same level of effectiveness shooting the basketball at point blank range that Gabby has, but there's plenty of that fun leapy stuff.

How many Layups is Team USA going to miss. Has to be 6+ that I've seen in 1st half.

Still USA has a 7 point lead. Dominating the glass, but 11 turnovers hurt. Keeping Spain in the game.

Thomas is a fun one to watch. Athletic and powerful.... watch out if she develops a consistent jumper

Thus far I give this team good grades for its defense and "work in progress" for offense. I guess the offense is pretty typical stuff for a team of young American stars without much experience playing with each other. The go-to move is "find someone inside," usually A'ja. But the interior passes are risky and sloppy for the most part.

Probably at least 10 points worth of missed layups and other easy shots, too.
