I still recognize a lot of names here from years past. I’ve had the pleasure to chat with a few of you guys/gals during that time and it’s always been wonderful conversations!! I joined the boneyard in 2013, seems longer than that tho

I recently posted that it took me 20 years to get Tony to make paragraphs (you’re welcome). Anywho, that got me to thinking, who else has been here 20+ years? I personally started here in 1994 when my oldest son was a newborn and I needed a way to talk to grown-ups during the day.

I'm guessing HuskyNan is still waiting to get to talk to grown-ups here!!!

First post around 2003...reading from about 2000....UConn fan since 1992.
First post was about Shamika Jackson...East Catholic HIgh in Manchester.
Saw her play and wanted her to go to UConn. Went to BC...wound up transferring to Somewhere U.
'Phil' gave me a nice welcome to the board in response.
Boneyard has been darn ...uhh...'entertaining'.

She went to Southern Connecticut where she won a D2 National Championship

I came to the Boneyard in the early 90's. A friend, Brett R. told me that Nan was starting up a new forum and that it looked interesting.

Started off as T9 and after one of the board switches, I changed my handle to BooRadley.

One of the only negatives of having Biff become a moderator was the loss of his artwork.

Once I had finally earned my official Biff Boneyard Card in 03 I knew that I had made the big time.

I've quietly been here since sometime during the late 20th century... and have enjoyed the run. I moved from life in CT circa 2009 but stuck with the Huskies, the BY, and have missed just a few games. I even still have a few oldies I recorded on Beta videotape sitting in a box in my "office".

I don't post much because I know if I wait long enough someone will post almost everything I agree with, usually better and more. My thanks to all those who've been here that long too, especially those who have better memory for detail than me. I also still enjoy reading the guests and the newbies...as always, the times they are a-changing.

The BY is a great forum thanks to Nan, Tom, and the others who've kept it on a steady keel so long too.

P.S. and bring back CT public TV (and (temporarily) Anna Makurat?)

August 2011 - Not an oldtimer, but not a newbie. I keep seeing the same timeframe on many profiles, and wondering if there's a significance to a bunch of us joining at the same time? I cannot remember if I was on any of Brett's systems, but seems familiar.

As my post about August 2011 suggested, that is the date of the last transition from a previous location/server/software so the 'Joined' date for anyone active before that date indicates only the date they created their new profile on the new platform. I don't remember if all the other user data got reset at the same time, but if it did, it suggests that I spend much to much time on this forum! Averaging more than 1000 messages per year = a wasted life!

August 2011 is the date of our last move from our previous server to the current one. It may be one of our longest tenures in one place(?) @temery

I am a part old timer. Joined in April 2009, after Lauren Engeln verballed to UConn. Then KML followed, then KLS.
No more OC girls since KLS left, but I still follow UConn.
