SC should win with their size inside, but has been said, their guards need to play well. If MS can pressure the SC guards and force turnovers while scoring efficiently themselves, it could be a long night for the Gamecocks. It will be a fun game to watch.

It makes sense to hope for a Top 3 team to come to CT. So SC I will root for. Probably watch some of it in between Duke & NC State. Try and give the women's program more of my attention for the first time in my life.

I really don't care who wins. But, I hope whoever loses gets annihilated. That way, we'll have only one of these two thinking that they would have a chance of beating UConn, should they ever get that far.

I'm going to go against the grain (and conventional wisdom) on this one. Carnac sez......Mississippi State by 8.

Had MS not had an epic collapse in the second half, my prediction would have come through. The difference in free throws attempted was disproportionate. The bigs for MS both fouled out. The two bigs for USC were around at the end. Vivians missed two lay ups that didn't help.
