OT: "The Untouchables"

We have dissed some individuals and one program over the years here on the Boneyard. A few come to mind: Marie Cornelius (the worst!, as the monitor of The Summitt and possibly author (IMO) of That Claim vs. UConn); Skylar and Candace (perhaps a bit over-the-top); Coach P; the NCAA and its Prez Emmert; even Bob Piccozzi; and so on.

But we also have a galaxy of stars that shine brightly and constantly. They are loved, cherished, revered, adored, even idolized -- beyond reproach, pure as the driven snow. (Jeez, that's a hell of a high bar!) Let me offer a few names that qualify them for the supreme "untouchable" level:

Among the "deplorables" we might include that guy from Boston who concluded that UConn was bad for the sport of WCBB. Unkind thoughts have been verbalized occasionally about Kim and Muffet and Holly. Didn't B. Griner clock another player in her first year and later threaten a tiny Native American? Wasn't it pretty mean-spirited of Syracuse Coach Popinjay to deny Bre a REAL homecoming? On the plus side, I've always thought that Dawn was a perfectly well mannered person despite her fierce expression. All in all no one completely evil or unredeemable, mostly just irritants. Nothing a Husky thrashing won't assuage.
