Iowa with 64 points in the first half against Northwestern, on 68% shooting from 2 and 3 (11-16, 7 different guys have made one).

People have said they don't play defense, but man they can score.
112-76 final

Tulane earned a bye in the American. With a 13-14 overall record. Jeez
One of the reasons I disliked the American. AAC teams struggled out of conference inexplicably and then decided to be Thor once conference play started (esp. Tulsa).

Much like a jobber in pro wrestling 'Cuse did what they had to do to sell the match for the audience before losing. It was fun to watch them stay close, take a lead, and do, well, those plucky things that plucky teams do.

In the end, the loss ensures 'Cuse has a losing record and no post season invites. And having to choose between 'Cuse losing and sitting the post season out or have 'Cuse win, have a chance for an NIT and only causing dook to drop from a 2 seed to a 3 seed, I had to see 'Cuse lose.
Never thought of Cuse thru that lense. But now I can totally see it. They’re the Barry Horowitz or Steve Lombardi (Brooklyn Brawler) of the ACC.

Omg if that shot went in for BC, would love to see Miami and Larranaga have their bubble burst.

16 minutes into the first half and WV's starters have 0 points on 0-14 shooting
trail KS 35-13
They were 76th in the NET so we can rule out that one jumping into top 75.

Pretty bad loss, as it turns out.

If we win like any 2 of those winnable games against MSU, WVU, Providence, Seton Hall, Creighton, Xavier, we're a 3 seed.

Creighton Marquette is a fun one, played at a pretty high level.

Haha BCU, not impressed with Miami at all, Duke will dominate them but will give up a ton of pts something like a 100-80 score.

Or maybe Miami will beat them like they did earlier in the season. I think we have all seen enough post season basketball to know that these games can go pretty hinky at times.

Guess they call it March Madness for a reason right.

I wonder how good Creighton would've been with TyTy Washington and Christian Bishop this year? Anyways it will all work out for them because these freshmen have all gained a ton of experience for next season and Washington and Bishop would be gone. Pretty damn impressive job of coaching this season from McDermott.

Well it isn't like Duke has looked so great lately against UNC and Syracuse. I just think there really isn't a team that is so dominant in that league that they can't be beaten.

Texas A&M buzzer beater to defeat Florida in OT, in what is almost an NCAA Tournament play-in game, considering both teams are right on the bubble.

Edit: It was Mamadou Diarra's little brother that made the shot!
Was at this game. Crazy reffing 0 fouls on Florida for first 22 mins of game then both teams in bonus in like first 5-7 mins of second half. Our guy Q fouled out and Texas A&M almost blew a big lead trying to milk clock for way too long.

Kept saying JC wouldn’t tolerate a 10-1 foul discrepancy (at the time) to my kids but credit to Buzz in the 2nd half they just called everything on both teams.

FYI: wonder if UF is on downswing like we were? Almost whole team is transfers I believe and while I think our guard situation is dire (only one), I don’t think UF has any! They have a bunch of wings who are solid but doesn’t look like UF I’m used to seeing. Didn’t look like much coaching from White as well.

Which appetizers are you watching before the night slate?

I started w 430 Montana (wife’s alma mater) v Weber State until Weber had a 20 point lead. Now, I switched over to 530 UC Santa Barbara v UC Irvine and will toggle between those for a while. Caron’s son plays for UC Irvine.
