Does this satisfy He Who Shall Not be Named's requirement that Warde Manuel needs to schedule P5 teams, or is Illinois not high profile enough?

I'm not sure that those 2 tweets need to be read together. We are talking with a high profile opponent about home-home (read Rentschler, not the Yale Bowl) and we are having separate discussions with teams to fill the Tennessee slots. I'm guessing that will be lesser programs but I will hold out hope for a Big 10/Big 12 mid-tier one for that slot. I also want no part of playing a "home" game at Metlife. Syracuse couldn't attract flies when they tried it. I think attnedance was around 37000. Notre Dame would probably fill the place,Penn State might but I doubt anyone else would come close.

Notre Dame vs Navy attendance in the meadowlands was over 75,000 and I know I paid $90 for each seat.(and that was coming off one of the worst seasons in ND history) I think ND vs UConn would sell out no matter where it was played in the northeast. Diaco should be able to work out a deal with ND for a home and home, (even though ND wanted to play Rutgers at the meadowlands and Rutgers wanted to play in Piscataway which made the Rutgers home and home fall apart). If UConn wants to play ND I think they should be able to work it out.
