Agreed. Tina's been on the knifes edge for at least two years now. Hope it all works out for Mir.Closeish to home but really question if Tina Thompson will last much longer.
I believe that she is able to play right away. It's a new semester and there is no sitting out a season anymore under the NCAA rules.Congratulations to Mir. I hope Virginia and coach Thompson will not allow her to cheat her potential, and help her to achieve everything possible. All the best to you. You have greatness within you, let it shine.
Anyone know if she has to sit out, or can she play now?
I don't mean to be mean, but at the D1 level what stuff does she have to show. Love to be shown wrong and I like this young woman with the beautiful smile.good for her........great school academically but not great at women's basketball........she'll have plenty of opportunity to show her stuff against some tough competition............
I believe she has to sit until next Fall like Saylor.Congratulations to Mir. I hope Virginia and coach Thompson will not allow her to cheat her potential, and help her to achieve everything possible. All the best to you. You have greatness within you, let it shine.

Good for Mir. Virginia is a great school, and, although hardly a neighborhood school, it's much closer to family and friends. I hope she proves to be the player so many of us have been hoping for...
What would a transfer do? We just lost two players because there wasn't enough playing time for them. Now UConn has only 12 players, and 5 are injured. Hope Geno can get some transfers soon ...
Is Dorka a transfer? You tell me what she is doing now. What would a transfer do? We just lost two players because there wasn't enough playing time for them.
they've already lost to Rhode Island, Richmond and American as part of a 3-8 record........maybe it's more about quality than height at this point.........I'm pretty sure she'll be their top ranked player........BTW they have a grad student McKenna Dale from Brown and originally from Storrs CT on their roster.......Pretty tall team.
